Refund Policy
Subscription Refund Window
New Pro or Starter subscriptions may be eligible for a 7-day refund window from the subscription date. Renewals are not covered by this window.
The refund amount is calculated as (remaining credits / total credits) x original price. Used credits and completed scans are non-refundable because processing and infrastructure costs are incurred when a scan runs.
Top-up credit purchases are non-refundable. Promotional credits are non-refundable unless required by law.
What Happens After a Refund
An approved refund cancels the subscription and zeros out remaining credits. The refund is returned through the original payment provider.
Failed scans caused by a service-side processing error, timeout, or provider outage may be credited back automatically where technically feasible.
Failed Scans
If a scan fails because of a service-side processing error, timeout, or provider outage, AI Video Detector may restore the scan credit or provide an account credit where technically feasible.
Failures caused by unsupported formats, videos over the plan limits, inaccessible direct video URLs, or user-side network issues may not qualify for a refund.
Requesting Help
To request a refund review or failed-scan credit, contact support@aivideodetector.dev with your account email, approximate payment time, and the scan or order ID if available.
Approved refunds are returned through the original payment provider when possible.
